| Q. | Do you sell to contractors? |
| A. | Our practice is to sell to O.E.M.s and HVAC distributors, but we will work with contractors to make sure you get everything you need in a timely fashion. Just call CDI for help. |
| Q. | Can I get a catalog? |
| A. | Our website is our catalog! Everything you need is available at the touch of a button. If you can't find it on our website give us a call and we'll take care of you over the phone. |
| Q. | I need to log in, but I forgot my password. What do I do? |
| A. | Click the "Lost password" button on our homepage. |
| Q. | I cannot login? what's the problem? |
| A. | Un-check the "Remember Me!" button and try to log in again. If this doesn't work please call CDI for assistance. |
| Q. | Can I access a quote that is in a co-worker's account? |
| A. | User accounts are only accessible by specified users. However, if you have questions about a quote in a co-worker's account please contact a CDI representative. |
| Q. | How do I update my user information? |
| A. | If you need to change a name, address, or phone number you can easily do this within your account: Simply click the "Edit Account" button after you log in. If you need to change the company you work for just contact CDI by phone and we'll help you out. |
| Q. | Why can't I select a different brand than the one that my company distributes? |
| A. | In order to save you time when you're building quotes each account is set up with the brand(s) that your company distributes. If you would like to add a brand you can change this by clicking the "Edit Account" button. |
| Q. | How do I change the ship to address on an order that I already sent in? |
| A. | Simply call CDI. Anyone in our office can help you with this. If this order has already left our building the truck lines may charge a re-consignment fee and this change could slow the transit time. |
| Q. | How do I check my order status? Did my order ship? How can I track it? |
| A. | Click the "My Orders" button. There you can search by your PO number, our tracker number, or you can scroll through your order history to find the order you would like to track. |
| Q. | How much will the freight for my order cost me? |
| A. | CDI figures freight costs into the price of each quote. |
| Q. | Does a 4 day build price mean I will have my curb in 4 Days? |
| A. | A 4 day price means that your order will be built in 4 days or less. It does not include transit times. View our Shipping Page for more information on delivery times. |
| Q. | What are your transit times? |
| A. | Follow this link to a map of estimated transit times. These transit times are not guaranteed. If you need a guaranteed delivery time please let your CDI sales representative know, and we will arrange it for you. |
| Q. | Can I have a curb shipped to meet a crane at a specific time? |
| A. | Yes, for a small additional charge you can have the curb delivered at a specific time. Just ask for a guaranteed delivery when you place your order. |
| Q. | What do I do if my curb is damaged when it is delivered? |
| A. | You have two options:
Option One - If you accept the curb make sure you note the damage on the delivery receipt. Call CDI and we will rebuild the curb for you right away. After you receive the replacement curb you can file the damage claim with the freight company. Option Two - If you refuse the curb mark the delivery receipt as "Refused, Damaged." Call CDI and we will rebuild the curb for you. After we receive the damaged curb we will file the freight claim. |
| Q. | What are CDI's lead times? |
| A. | CDI is the only manufacture that allows you to Choose Your Lead Time. We offer 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 Day lead times. |
| Q. | Can I get a curb built and shipped today? |
| A. | Yes. If you place your order by 11AM central time we will guarantee that it leaves our facility. If it is after 11am please contact a CDI representative to confirm availability. |
| Q. | Does CDI provide gasket with all curb adapters? |
| A. | Yes! Lifting lugs are standard, too. |
| Q. | How do I get my curb on the roof? |
| A. | All CDI curbs and curb adapters come with crane-friendly lifting lugs or clearly labeled lift points (for the larger units). |
| Q. | What is curb verification? |
| A. | Curb verification means that you give us the okay to build the curb adapter to the dimensions of the drawing we provided you. |
| Q. | Why do I have to verify your drawings? |
| A. | There are many different sizes and styles of roof curbs (including non-factory curbs) out there, and we want to make sure we build the correct adapter for you the first time. |
| Q. | My existing curb does not match the drawings you sent. What do I do? |
| A. | Make the necessary dimension changes on the drawing and send it back to us. We'll change our drawings to match what you have in the field. |
| Q. | I received a 3-D drawing but my application requires a different layout. What are my options? |
| A. | It's the same procedure as above. Simply mark the drawing with any dimension changes (or in some cases any obstructions or other relevant information) and send it back to us. We'll change our drawings accordingly. |
| Q. | Do you remember that quote we were working on? |
| A. | We'll need a little bit more information from you first. Name and company are a good start. We probably can't remember every quote we've worked on, but we do store everything electronically, so if you give us your information we can pull up all of your quotes. |
